Privacy policy

Last updated 3 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Y-tech collects through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We are committed to handling your data lawfully, transparently and no more than we need to.

In short: today this website does one thing with personal data — it takes the email address you give us so we can tell you when Y-tech launches. We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising trackers, and you can ask us to delete your record at any time by writing to info@ytechfinance.com.

1. Who we are

Y-tech is a trading name of YTECH FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGIES LTD, a company incorporated in England and Wales (company number 17497293, registered office 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom). For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@ytechfinance.com.

2. What we collect

DataWhere it comes fromWhy we have it
Email addressYou type it into the waitlist formTo contact you about early access and launch
Date and source of signupRecorded automatically with your signupTo manage the waitlist in order and know which page you came from
Technical data such as IP address and browser typeGenerated by your device when you load the pageHeld briefly by our hosting provider to serve the site securely and prevent abuse

We do not ask for your name, address, date of birth, financial information or identity documents on this website. Please do not send us such information by email at this stage — we have no need for it and would have to delete it.

3. Our lawful basis

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our instructions and are bound by contract to protect it:

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose data if the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.

When we appoint a licensed electronic money institution to provide payment services, that partner will act as a separate controller for the data you give them, under their own privacy notice. That does not affect anything you submit on this website today.

5. Where your data is held

Our providers may store or process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement. You can ask us for details of the safeguards that apply.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and in any case no longer than 24 months after launch if you have not become a customer. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider and then discarded.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

Write to info@ytechfinance.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

9. Children

This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete the record.

10. Changes

We will update this policy as Y-tech develops, particularly once we appoint a licensed partner and begin offering services. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email.
